NEVELIA® is composed of a collagen layer and a reinforced silicone layer.
The NEVELIA® dual-layer matrix is a sterile medical product consisting of a collagen layer to promote dermal regeneration and a reinforced silicone layer that acts as a pseudo-epidermis.

The collagen is bovine-derived type I, purified and stabilized, supplied as a three-dimensional porous matrix that allows cell migration and the growth of a new dermis. The silicone layer consists of medical-grade silicone elastomer reinforced with a polyester material, a patented technology by Symatese, which protects against bacterial infections or other damage.

SYMATESE’s extraction process maintains the natural structure of collagen until the finished product. Our collagen is fibrous like in the dermis, consequently, the interactions between cells and collagen are preserved.
